Stressful Moments

Many different types of happenings, accidents and mishaps can result in stress and depression. A person suffering from stress and depression is bound to feel that his life is spiraling out of control, and hence he will feel that his body functions and emotions too are not in his control, hence making them feel frustrated, helpless and hopeless.
The stress hormones in body can also increase and shoot out of control, resulting in activating an energetic flush of hormone release which in turn increases the heart beat which then pumps faster and hence causes muscle tension leading to accelerated breathing. These are not unusual symptoms of stress.
Other painful results of stress which the patient suffers from are high blood pressure, migraines, perspiration, back ache and palpitations. These symptoms go hand in hand with stress though not everyone suffers from these symptoms along with stress. The patient's attitude and behavior might also change and he or she might become more touchy and irritable than before.
As we are all different from each other, everyone reacts differently to stress. Some people may suffer from ulcers, cold sores and heart diseases also because of stress, while others might not. It all depends on how each person's body reacts to stress.
Though there many stress related factors are known to us today, two most important factors are - internal and external, the external one being brought on by some kind of grief, loss, debt or break-up of a long duration relationship.
There are other reasons behind the development of stress where you can initiate the situation at hand more by forcing yourself to perceive and face situations that are not agreeable to the condition. Nicotine, caffeine, drugs, alcohol and other toxins which are not environment friendly and various chemicals contaminate our surroundings as well as our body should be avoided coz they tire the body, consuming up all our energy.
Avoid the consumption of these substances. If you find that too hard, then start with cutting down your consumption. This is not a remedy to this situation, but it definitely prevents your condition from getting worse. There are many methods through which we can fight stress.
The important point is to recognize and pinpoint why you are stressed out or depressed and why your body is mentally and physically acting the way it is. By doing this, you can then look into the matter and come up with techniques with which you can calm down. However, if you ignore the symptoms of depression and stress, you can mess up and do away with any chance of peace of mind, resulting in immense pain and unnecessary suffering.
